Share notifications

As you work in Motion, the OS X Notification Center provides a convenient way to receive alerts when your background share operations are complete (or have failed). These settings are controlled in OS X System Preferences.

Set Motion Share alerts in OS X System Preferences

  1. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences.

  2. In the Notifications pane of System Preferences, select Motion in the “In Notification Center” list, then set an alert style:

    • Banners: The share notifications appear on your screen and disappear after a while.

    • Alerts: The share notifications stay on your screen until you dismiss them.

If the share fails, click “Details” in the alert to view a dialog displaying the error message.

For more information, see Mac Help (in the Finder, choose Help > Mac Help).
