About adding nontext behaviors to text

Even though text behaviors are typically the most convenient way to animate text, you can apply any other behavior to your text.

Nontext behaviors applied to text can affect the whole text object or its individual text characters, depending on the settings you choose. For example, when you apply the Spin behavior to a text phrase on a circular path, the entire phrase rotates around its anchor point. To rotate individual text characters, select the Affect Subobjects checkbox in the Behaviors Inspector.
