Zoom Blur
Creates a blur that simulates a fast camera zoom-in to a point.
Adjust this filter using the parameter controls in the Filters Inspector:
-
Look: Sets the type of blur operation. This pop-up menu has two options:
Variable: The blur increases toward the edges of the image. This option is faster when using high blur values.
Uniform: The blur is consistent from the center of the image outward.
Amount: Sets the radius of the blur. Drag the small circle (above the Center onscreen control) in the Canvas to adjust the blur amount.
Swirl: Sets the quantity and direction of the swirl. Positive and negative values affect the direction of the swirl.
Center: Sets the position of the center of the blur. Drag the Center onscreen control in the Canvas to adjust the center position.
Crop: Sets whether the filtered image is sharply cropped at its original boundaries. When this checkbox is deselected, the filter affects the edges of the image.
Mix: Sets the percentage of the original image to be blended with the blurred image.
Publish OSC: Publishes the filter’s onscreen controls in Final Cut Pro X. For more information on creating content for use in Final Cut Pro, see Final Cut Pro templates overview.
